Lymington report by John Skeggs, Last Laugh Charters
The month of May saw much lower than average temperatures, this kept the water temperature down and delayed many of the summer species .The Bream fishing has showed little consistency, one day you would catch 20 the next day you’d be lucky to find them.
The offshore banks, Bass fishing has got off to a good start ,most fish being taken on artificial lures.
There is the odd mackerel about, we’ve yet to find a shoal.
One species that is in abundance is the Stingray, several dinghy /beach anglers have landed
fish to 50lb plus.
Onwards and Upwards, at least we are back out fishing again !
