Poole report March 2021

Poole Report by Phil Higgins

Not a great deal has been happening due to restrictions and the relentless wind but as the end of Feb is here the sun is shining and the winds have dropped out to allow some days afloat with 1 other, I and many others from Poole have taken full advantage and the results have been good for the time of year with plenty of Plaice which are in surprisingly good condition and are of a decent size. Some boats have ventured further afield to the Turbot marks and have caught a few small fish but for most it has been more about getting back into fishing than catching, now with a timetable issued to resume a new style norm we can plan the future and enjoy the good times ahead.
